Access Services offers a comprehensive package of employee benefits. These benefits include the following:
Participants may choose coverage for themselves and any eligible dependents, or to opt-out of the plan if they are covered by another employer-sponsored plan.
Access Services pays 95% of the premium cost for employee and eligible dependents on all medical plans, up to limits established by the Board of Directors.
Coverage begins the first day of the month after 30 days of employment.
Access Services pays 100% of the premium cost for employee and eligible dependents on both dental plans, up to limits established by the Board of Directors.
The Prepaid Dental Benefit (DHMO) option provides basic care at no charge to the employee and other services at a low co-payment.
Indemnity Dental Benefits (DPO) option provides basic care at no charge to the employee and other services at a payment of 90% on most usual and customary charges up to $1,500 per year.

Access Services pays 100% of the premium cost for employee and eligible dependents on the vision plan, up to limits established by the Board of Directors.
Comprehensive vision insurance (PPO) covers frames, lenses, contact lenses and exams.

Comprehensive chiropractic insurance covers treatment, therapy and covered expenses when obtained in-network
Employer-paid Life Insurance provides an amount equal to the employee’s annual salary. Coverage begins the first day of the month after 30 days of employment.
Employer-paid Long Term Disability Insurance provides up to 66% of salary for employees unable to work after a 90-day waiting period.

Access Services pays 100% of the premium cost for employees at a base benefit of $2,000 per month for two years for confinement to a skilled nursing or convalescent facility, up to limits established by the Board of Directors. Employees have the option of purchasing additional benefits for themselves or to cover family members.
Employees have the option to purchase additional life insurance for themselves, spouse, and/or eligible dependents.
Employees have the option to purchase supplemental insurance policies, such as for short term disability, accidents, hospital confinement, or critical illness.
Employees have the option of participating in Flexible Spending Accounts for health care and/or dependent care, up to limits established by the Internal Revenue Service.
Employees may choose to join Southland Credit Union for access to loans, savings and checking accounts, and other credit union features.
All regular full-time employees accrue PTO from the first day of employment. PTO is accrued according to the following accrual rate:
Ten scheduled paid holidays per year.
CalPERS (California Public Employees Retirement System) - 100% employer-paid, 2% @ 60, employees are vested after five years’ service
403 (b)(7) tax sheltered annuity retirement plan. Currently there is no employer contribution.
Free parking is available at the Access Services' corporate office. Monthly reimbursement for transit passes up to Metro’s Zone 2 (Los Angeles County) through payroll. Eligible employees also are enrolled in the B-TAP Metro pass program and receive an annual B-TAP pass.
Educational assistance is offered after six months of employment, up to $1,200 per fiscal year.
Access Services provides employees with confidential resources through an Employee Assistance Plan (EAP). The plan offers free and discounted services for work-life balance, elder care, child care, eating disorders, marriage and family counseling, and some legal matters such as wills or living trusts.
