San Gabriel Transit is honored to have our Supervisor Renee Almarez nominated for a Superior Service Award. Renee Almarez has been an employee with San Gabriel Transit since July 15,1998. Renee began her start here as a Customer Service Representative. She quickly became a very helpful person for the management staff at SGT to call upon when special assistance was needed. Renee is always extremely helpful to all, always taking an extra step to help the riders. In the year of 2006 Renee was promoted to a floor supervisor on the swing shift. She continues to display the same characteristics she always has, excellent customer service, always going the extra mile to assist the rider in their transportation needs. Director Teddie-Joy Remhild had a problem on the weekend. Renee was on duty and was able to correct the problem and resolve the issue to everyone's satisfaction. "Renee has always been very responsive and helpful to my needs." said Director Remhild. Mr. Manuel Ramos is an employee driver at GLOBAL PARATRANSIT INC., since February 17th, 2003, The riders that Mr. Ramos has a lot of patience and compassion for his riders because they all have some special need. He enjoys his work and being of service to his riders. He is also committed to coming to work every day. Mr. Ramos was recently promoted to Road Supervisor in August 2006. He has also received many commendations for a job well done. Mr. Ramos stated: "I like working with the elderly and disabled because it is a very humbling and rewarding experience." Overall, he is an employee that we treasure at GLOBAL PARATRANSIT INC. and he is very much appreciated by everyone, riders, peers, and management.
